This genius hour blog is about horses.
Horses are mammals. Most horses live for 25-30 years. Horses eat mainly grass or hay. A few facts about horses are that they sleep while standing up, they have really fast reflexes and they can’t breathe through their mouths.
Horse riding is a sport but not all horses do it. A horse you ride is called a “saddle horse”. A horse can weigh up to 1,200 pounds.
To look after horses in a stable you feed them hay or grain morning and night. You need to clean and refill buckets of water morning and night , you muck out stables every morning and you refresh their bedding and check and pick out hooves daily.
If you are riding your horse on the road you need to keep your horse to the left, keep your two hands on the reins unless you’re signalling and keep your two feet in the stirrups.
That’s my blog over for today , hope you enjoyed it !
